Allysha has always had an infatuation with food since the precious age of 9 years old. Unlike most other young children her age watching Nickelodeon, Allysha would watch The Food Network Channel. One of her past time favorite chefs is Emeril Lagasse. Allysha grew up and went on to pursue a career in Nursing and continued in that field for about 6 years. In 2015, Allysha and her young daughter were both struck by a driver while standing in the pedestrian crosswalk which then made both Allysha and her daughter incapacitated for a time. While they both recovered after some time, Allysha still was unable to return to work as a nurse which then led her to a deep depression. Family and friends encouraged Allysha to occupy her recovery time by doing the things that she enjoyed most. Little did Allysha know; hosting family dinners and family parties would soon become her next career. Soul D'lysh was soon born in September of 2017 and has been taking off ever since. Allysha never imagined that something that she did for fun would become a serious thing for her. Allysha has had the opportunity and privilege to serve customers throughout the Tri State area including Celebrities, NFL Eagles and has made several appearances on local news stations such as Channel 6 news FYI Philly and NBC 10.
"Cooking is like therapy to me. Its my outlet similar to how some people prefer to paint or make music. I love to create new and exciting dishes for people to enjoy, I love to create a party in the mouths of my supporters. What a keynote is to Beethoven, Soul D'Lysh is my masterpiece" - Allysha
